for Personal HQ

Ten art-direction concepts for the dashboard redesign — blank-slate, grounded only by a text description of what HQ is, taken as far from the departures-board identity as they'd go.

These are mood, not mockups. Image models render impressionistic UI — the on-image text is garbled by design, the grids don't truly align. Read them for direction; the winner gets translated into real coded UI. Pick one or two and we build.

A dense telemetry wall with a lone operator at the console — the archetypal command center, and the most literal fit to the brief.

Translates to A real panel-grid dashboard: projects, crons, money, infra as a live wall of readouts. Translates almost 1:1 to a CSS grid of dense panels.

MOOD ONLY

Bioluminescent tissue and synapse-glow. Gorgeous, but it drifted furthest into abstract cave — barely reads as a control surface.

Translates to Ambient / generative background only. Data-as-biology is a lovely motif but there's little actionable UI to build from here.

Readouts and dials carved into raw béton-brut. A genuinely fresh, tactile material language — underpopulated, but distinctive.

Translates to Monolithic slab panels, embossed type, heavy raking shadow, one safety-orange accent. An anti-glossy, weighty dashboard.

Raked-sand ripples, stones as projects, one softly glowing stone = needs-attention. The most conceptually radical of the ten.

Translates to Calm-tech: at-a-glance status as a spatial garden. 'Needs attention' literally glows; a quiet day literally looks calm. Bold, unusual, real.

The sleeper. The ONLY concept with a legible dashboard layout — real columns, charts, a stat row — in a letterpress broadsheet. (Empty right void is a composition flaw, ignore it.)

Translates to Editorial data design: your dashboard as a beautiful printed almanac page. Misregistered fluoro ink, tabular columns, hand-plotted charts. Most directly buildable as web UI.

A stunning space vista through the deck glass. But it's wallpaper — awe, not a control surface. Lowest UI signal.

Translates to A hero backdrop at most; the data would have to be invented on top. Beautiful, least useful as a redesign direction.
